botox

Worry lines, crow’s feet, frown lines and neck bands are no challenge to Botox or Dysport injections. In just a few minutes, these facial paralytics can temporarily weaken facial muscles beneath the wrinkled area to relax the skin and restore its youthful appearance.

The full effects of Botox® takes about two weeks, but will gradually kick in between 5-7 days

MICRO-NEEDLING WITH PRP

Micro-needling with PRP actually involves the use of two procedures, micro-needling and PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) done consecutively.

Micro-Needling

A topical numbing cream is first applied, then a small hand held, automatic device that contains tiny micro-needles is passed over the skin creating tiny micro-wounds, or channels, on the skin. During the body’s natural wound-healing process of these channels, collagen and elastin are automatically produced.

PRP

(Platelet Rich Plasma)

After a blood sample is obtained from a patient, the blood is put into a centrifuge, which is a tool that separates the PRP from the blood. The blood is spun for approximately 10 minutes. PRP contains highly concentrated amounts of natural growth factors and other cytokines that promote the regeneration process of soft tissues. The PRP is applied directly to the channels that were created from the micro-needling to further stimulate the natural healing process and creation of collagen.

This is ideal for the treatment of acne scars, surgical scars, stretch marks, wrinkles and fine lines, hyperpigmentation, lax skin, sun damaged, large pores, and uneven skin texture.

PRP for Hair Restoration

For Hair loss and hair thinning, PRP is injected into the scalp to stimulate the hair follicle strength. In addition to injections, Micropen™ with PRP topically assists with the stimulation of the hair follicle.

PRP Facial Injections

For facial rejuvenation, PRP may be placed under the skins surface with a cannula. A cannula is a blunt needle that slides under the skin's surface allowing for placement of PRP into the desired areas while minimizing bruising. Deficits under the eye, hollowing in the temples, and the loss of volume in the cheeks are some desired areas for treatment. For surface improvements combine this procedure with the Micropen™ with PRP for the most effective treatment. For volume restoration it works synergistically with dermal fillers (Voluma, Juvederm, etc).
